4 MALDA TOURIST INJURED IN AN ACCIDENT AT LATAGURI

Webdesk, TNI Mainaguri 19th June, 2016: At least 4 tourists were injured today when they were hit by a tourist-laden vehicle at Lataguri on NH-31 between Malbazar and Mainaguri. Sources said that the injured tourist came from Malda to NJP and then boarded a vehicle to Lataguri. They were standing on the side of the road then suddenly a tourist vehicle came close to them and hit them. The driver of the vehicle was seriously injured and is being transferred to NBMC&H. Other tourist included a doctor from Malda Dr. Sudipta Roy. Other injured were Mr. Sabyasachi Sengupta and Mr. Siddhartha Bhattacharya. All of them were treated at Sadar Hospital. Among them, Mr. Siddhartha Bhattacharya is admitted. Other were released. A diary has been lodged by the victims. Another diary was also lodged by the tourists of the colliding vehicle.
